Fixed Incentive Program Overview

The Fixed Incentive Program helps offset the cost of upgrading to energy-efficient natural gas technology for commercial and industrial buildings. Enbridge Gas provides incentives and support through an Energy Solutions Advisor (ESA) to help businesses reduce energy consumption, cut costs, and improve performance.

How the Program Works

  1. Project Scoping & Quote
  • Contact an ESA during the project planning stage to pre-qualify for incentives.
  • ESA provides an estimated savings report and incentive quote.
  • Purchase Order & Documentation
  • Submit a purchase order and technical input sheets, along with an estimated installation date.
  • Project Commissioning
  • ESA confirms final details after installation via inspection or invoice review.
  • Incentive Payment
  • Submit all required documents and receive the incentive payment within 4 to 6 weeks.
  • An independent evaluator may verify the project details.

Eligibility & Additional Information

  • Available only to Enbridge Gas customers.
  • Incentives cannot exceed 50% of the project cost and $100,000 per project.
  • High-volume projects (more than 10 units) require individual approval.
  • Only available for new energy-efficient equipment (not replacements).
  • Applications must be submitted by December 31, 2025.
  • Payment processing time: 10 to 12 weeks.
  • Business partner incentives are limited to $1,000 per project.

Limited-Time Offer: Ozone Laundry Systems

  • Maximum incentive: $17,000 per ozone system (not per washer).
  • Covers up to 75% of project costs.
  • Only applicable for new installations between January 1, 2025 – September 30, 2025.
  • Installation deadline: October 31, 2025.
  • Requires a minimum 10-year rental agreement for leased systems.

Condensing MUA Additional Incentive

  • Minimum incentive: $1,125
  • Maximum incentive: $21,000 per unit
  • Efficiency requirement: Thermal efficiency ≥ 90%.
  • Airflow rate: 1,500 CFM – 14,000 CFM
  • Exclusions: Demand control ventilation (DCV) buildings and Air Handling Units (AHU) with return, reheat, or cooling.

How to Apply

  1. Complete the 2025 Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Fixed Incentive Application Form.
  2. Provide proof of purchase (invoice preferred) linked to installation address.
  3. Include one of the following:
  • Enbridge Gas incentive project quote.
  • Technical Input Sheet (TIS).
  • Customer/business partner email acknowledgment of the incentive.
