Home Renovation Savings (HRS) Smart Thermostat Program – Launched January 28, 2025

The Enbridge Smart Thermostat rebate program has now transitioned to the Home Renovation Savings (HRS) Smart Thermostat program, a joint initiative by Enbridge Gas and Save on Energy. This program offers rebates for smart thermostats, with flexible options for single or bundled energy efficiency upgrades.

Eligibility

• Available to Enbridge Gas customers who heat their homes with natural gas.
• Also available to homes connected to the Ontario electricity grid that use electric heating or cooling.

How to Apply

1. For Customers with an Existing Instant Discount Code:

• If you received a discount code from the previous Enbridge Smart Thermostat program, you can still use it.
• Visit homerenovationsavings.ca/without-assessment/smart-thermostat and follow the instructions to redeem it.
• For Post-Purchase Rebate Applications:
• Enbridge Gas customers who purchased a smart thermostat and want a post-purchase rebate can apply through the HRS website.
• The application must be submitted within 60 days of purchase.
• Required documents:
• Clear image of the invoice showing:
• Purchase date
• Device model
• Retailer
• Pre-tax cost

This program enhances energy efficiency rebate opportunities, providing homeowners with greater savings on home heating and cooling systems.
